Cook in the oven for 40 minutes at 180C.I use a covered Stonewear Le Creuset casserole dish to cook this. Then add the condensed cream of chicken soup to the casserole dish with the rest of the ingredients, mix well, cover and place in the oven. When browned, remove to the casserole dish. You may need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your pan. Then fry the chicken until browned on all sides. Optional step: Fry the shallots and garlic together in a skillet until starting to brown.Finely chop the shallots and slice the garlic. Clean the chicken breasts of any white parts, chop into bite-sized pieces and season with some salt. It is just better, and will give you a thicker and tastier sauce in your casserole! Their soups really are the best! So my recommendation is, if you can get your hands on some Campbell’s or Erin’s condensed cream of chicken soup, please do use that. So if you use a non-condensed can of soup, you may want to thicken the sauce using some cornflour as mentioned in the recipe. However, the soup I used originally was not a ‘condensed’ soup, so the sauce is slightly different and less thick than usual. You could of course also try a condensed cream of mushroom soup if you wanted some variation – that also works. You can tell the older photos as I pre-fried the chicken, garlic and shallots as described in the optional step in the recipe.įrom the newer photos, you can see the difference in the appearance of the casserole if you do not follow the optional step. So for the original photos of this post, I used a different manufacturer’s can of cream of chicken soup for these pictures. I have also done this recently and it works well. You can also use this recipe with chicken and ham or chicken and mushroom to make a nice tasty pie, if you have some shortcrust or puff pastry in your fridge or freezer. This chicken casserole recipe made with Erin condensed cream of chicken soup, without pre-frying the chicken Yes, those are the ones! They look a bit like this: Remember the iconic paintings of Campbell’s soup cans by Andy Warhol? The key to the recipe is, of course, the Campbell’s condensed soup. It was that simple! Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup I believe her version did not even have any garlic or shallots in it, and I do not think she even pre-fried the chicken, as I sometimes do. My Gran was not really a great one for cooking, but she always made this simple recipe for me when I was visiting, as she knew I loved it. My Granny used to live alone in Forest Hill in South London, and as a kid, I used to visit her by train whenever I was around. This recipe is one of my late Grandma Molly’s special recipes. Origin of this Campbell’s Chicken and Rice Casserole Dish It is an easy recipe that only needs a few ingredients. It tastes great and is almost impossible to get wrong. This chicken and rice casserole recipe, made with Campbell’s condensed cream of chicken soup, is a simple recipe that anyone can make. Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until the the crumbs have lightly browned. If you plan to serve the casserole right away, uncover and sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the top. Here are eight popular brands of composite lumber for decks and other outdoor construction projects. Made of materials that include recycled and new plastic, bamboo, and wood fibers, these synthetic or composite decking products have evolved as an essential alternative where green or eco-conscious materials are desired, such as LEED-qualified or certified construction. It is typically used only for surface decking or visible railing parts, not structural components. Although composite lumber is usually denser and heavier than natural wood lumber, it does not have the structural strength of wood. Some synthetic or composite lumber is hollow, requiring end-caps to cover the ends of boards, while others are dense, solid boards that are cut and fitted like lumber boards used for decking. Two types of manufacturing processes are used: compression molding which creates solid planks and extrusion processes which form planks by pressing raw materials through shaping molds. So-called composite decking comes in several forms, from solid PVC plastic boards to solid composites using 100 percent recycled plastics to products that blend plastics and natural wood or bamboo fibers. With natural lumber supplies dwindling-especially for the types of lumber with natural resistance to decay and pests, such as redwood, cedar, and teak- composite decking is becoming an increasingly popular choice for decks and other outdoor structures. I think the tournament that took place, which was quite small (no more than 25 players iirc) was full of hype moments like Legendary Machines getting KO'd in the City, Gordo mid-air snipes, players fighting to gain advantage of the events and Parts, etc. We play against each other all the time and we hope for the Netplay common to grow, it'd mean more tournaments and more fun. I think it's immensely fun playing this competitively and with all those people wanting an KAR 2, if interested, you should try and play too.Īnd I think City Trial is fun mostly because of the multiplayer. People actually play the game online on pc, using usb controller e.g. We've hosted 2 tournaments on here the past 2 years. There is a Hackpack made by UnclePunch, a mod made to maximize competitiveness (disabling certain Stadiums and such). I see people hope for KAR 2 nowadays, so do I. That just does not make sense, as there is nothing special about this release. If I have played this game before on the WiiU, I would not pick this up on Switch. While those are considered negative, they aren’t to many people who play MM. I just wanted to share my opinion and see what others thought. This is not a thread to hate on the character, or start wars, or anything that negative. How can I, as the character, NOT like him when he’s so deep? How can I not like his memes? Or how relatable he is? No one brings up his flaws, or how terrible he treats the MC in his route. A lot of people give Zen shit for being so full of himself. Like someone said, a LOT of people give jumin shit for being possessive or controlling. The problem is that those flaws don’t come up til his route begins, and even then, they are forgiven in the eyes of most players. There’s nothing wrong with appreciating the character, but I like hearing both sides.Ī major thing a lot of people are poking at is my flawless claim. I didn’t want to start a flame war - I just wanted to see what people truly think of the character, since all I usually see are “omg I love 707” posts. So, first off, I just want to thank everyone for being civil. Again, I’m not attacking people who like him. He just seems like one of those meta characters that know what’s up for the purpose of being the favorite. So on and so forth.ħ07 is so flawless (imo) there is almost no reason not to like him like him more than the others. Yoosung is cutesy and lovable, but he makes many comparisons to Rika. Jumin is sincere and protective, but controlling throughout his route. Zen, for example, is extremely sweet, but hella full of himself. This is especially apparent due to the fact that he has the most development and deepest backstory. The fact that breaks the 4th wall 24/7 and have this WaCkY personality makes it seem like they were purposely trying to make him the one people like the most. I just think he’s too obviously the favorite. I don’t despise him, and I respect people who do like him. I wrote this back in June when I needed to get it out of my head and had no idea it was chosen as a daily until I just logged back on and thought there was a glitch with my notifications number. I pick the non-wilted bits off the head of lettuce and rinse them under the faucet. I grab the plastic tubs of sour cream and guacamole from the fridge and a spoon from the drawer that sticks a little when you try to open it. Hand into oven mitt, mitt onto pan, pan onto table. I wipe my sleeve across my face and traipse back to the toaster. I feel so foolish for crying over stupid, little things. Warm tears coat my cheeks in the air-conditioned room. I sit on the sofa and break down, gasping in childish sobs. Of course, you would have appreciated anything I made for you, but it was always better when the dish matched the idea in your head.when I made it like you would have made it (if you were only well enough to cook for yourself again.) In the present, I poke the TOAST button and flee the kitchen as to not cry in front of the smothered chips. I think about how excited you were when cheese bubbled perfectly- "just a little brown, ever so slightly crispy." We would joke about your persnickety preferences, likely a product of your superior taste. I hear your voice so clearly, like you're still calling from the next room: "you have to press the TOAST button, it cooks much faster." The tears start to roll. I freeze when I try to adjust the heat setting. I slide the pan into the tiny oven- triumphant! But the next task breaks me. "No," my conscious scolds, "you will not cry over shredded cheese." I add another pinch for flavor, then another to assert dominance. I dangle my (washed) fingers into the zip-lock bag, grab a generous pinch and rain mild cheddar down on my gourmet meal. Beans, evenly distributed (if I do say so myself.) Salsa- good to go. The chips fall in the pan without a problem. It’s one of the most versatile fonts I know of, and the fact that it comes in a variety of weights just reinforces it’s status of one of my best free logo fonts. Montserrat can be used for literally anything. MilkshakeĪ beautiful cursive font with the perfect weight for logo design. Michroma is the perfect font for depicting something technological and/or scientific. I envision this sort of font working great for a food blog. Lemon TuesdayĪ great font for communicating a fun, spunky, personalized vibe. Learning Curve Pro is an exceptional font for such. Sometimes you need to communicate some personalized and handmade, but also keep it appropriate for a professional setting. It’s also one of the best free logo fonts out there! 7. I use it for nearly all of my blog post headers and YouTube thumbnails. And I love that it comes in a variety of weights! 6. I’ve found that it really shines when used in a relaxed and casual but somewhat professional context, like a logo for an app or an SAAS product. “FreeSerif” is great whenever you need to communicate something traditional or authoritative, like a newspaper or law firm. Com4tĬom4t has been a superstar for me any time I needed to communicate something luxurious and high-end. Its heavy weight makes it great for logo design too. This one does include premium fonts though so you still have to be careful of how you use them. Adobe Fonts: Technically not free but it does come free with your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription if you’re a member.Google Fonts: I don’t have much experience with Google Fonts personally but I know a lot of designers use and recommend them (and a lot of you guys have mentioned them as well.).When you do that, Dafont can be a great site for finding the best free logo fonts. What I like to do is simply filter the search results so that it only shows fonts that are 100% free. Dafont: Dafont is probably the largest library of free fonts that I’ve seen, but you have to be careful though because most of the fonts on that site are only free for personal use, meaning you can’t use them for client projects (or for your own logo) unless you pay for a license. Not only that but they have good editorial standards, so you know that stolen fonts aren’t likely to appear on the site. Font Squirrel: This is probably my favorite site for free fonts because all of the fonts that can be found on this site are 100% free for personal and commercial use, meaning you can use them in any way without worry. Here are some places where the best free logo fonts can be found… This is why I’ve grown to love fonts that are 100% free and available in the public domain. Many fonts are only available through purchase of a license, and even more fonts are free for personal use but require the purchase of a license if you want to use them commercially (like for client work.) This can be a headache because it means your usage of them comes with legal ramifications, which can put you in a precarious position. Choosing the right font can be tricky, and for more than just the obvious reason of finding a design that fits. |
